Why complicate things?
To reduce maintenance costs, the design focus was on the choice of components and their maintenance. At the same time, the motor assembly has been optimised to allow a greater flexibility in their use, avoiding unnecessary mechanical issues and therefore prolonging their lifespan.
Simple to use
An over-complicated, non user-friendly control panel is a major risk of errors and poor handling. The user-friendly principle of ID WASH washing gantrys is based on simple logic: Separation of the user commands on the washing gantry from the maintenance and operating commands. The control panel for drivers and other users of the coach washing gantry is simply made up of buttons to start the programmes and status indicator lights. For all maintenance and operations on the coach washing gantry, a tactile screen which gives direct access to these commands is used. This screen is equipped with a code giving limited access to these commands on the tactile screen. The washing station manager can freely decide who has access to what.
The automation system used is specially designed to be able to communicate and to be coordinated remotely. Using a Wi-Fi antenna, the automatic washing gantry can be connected to the company computer network or via a 3G or 4G key. For example, the garage manager can be alerted by SMS on their mobile phone when the gantry is malfunctioning. Other uses: the company manager can consult an Excel file when he or she wishes which summarises all the statistics for the coach washing installation (consumption, number of washes...).
